Hey There

Hello!

I am thrilled to have you join me in this space to discuss all things interior design–the beautiful, the practical, the inspiring, the messy – all the things that make up the places we dwell in and how we live within them.

I am buzzing with all of the topics I want to dive into, but I’ll kick things off with a quick introduction and give you a brief glimpse into my passion for this field.

In addition to being an Interior Designer, I am a proud wife & mom of two. I currently own a 1930s cottage-craftsman fixer upper that is slowly (but surely!) getting her groove back and keeping us all warm in the process (although, with that said, say a quick prayer for our furnace). Follow along as I post updates on our renovation!

My background consists of fine art, appliance sales, and environmental graphic design. What do these things have in common? People, places, design! They all refer to one another and they all connect, and for me, they were a series of distinct stepping stones leading me towards Interior Design. Each of those positions taught me SO much and gave me the knowledge and fuel to pursue what I’m doing today.

There’s something beautiful about the home design process. It’s not just about creating a beautiful space and calling it a day. There’s something below the surface. It’s the “rags to riches” kind of story that we all gravitate toward. It’s taking something that was broken, beat up, and unloved and making it whole. When new life is breathed into our homes, we feel it in our bones. That new life is being breathed into us as well.

I’m so excited to dive in and I hope that as you follow along, you find yourself feeling inspired, equipped, and energized for all that lies ahead.
